Deep Cleaning Hornsey, London

Hornsey is a district of north London in the Borough of Haringey, England. In the past, this was the name of a much wider parish then it was granted to Middlesex’s municipal Borough, and now this name is just referred to a district of London. This inner suburb is situated in the north direction of Charing Cross at a distance of 10 km (6.2 miles).

Hornsey is named after a Saxon chieftain, whose name was Haering. This is the same reason behind the origin of name of Harringay and Borough of Haringey. The first record of the village of Hornsey was found in 1202 that is mentioned in Place Names Middlesex. This village was the target of the parish as there was a Church, in 1291.

The area of this village is now known as Hornsey High Street. The area was bisected in the 17th century, by the New River, which intersect the village in three regions: Nightingale Lane’s end; beside the Three Compasses, and Tottenham Lane’s bottom. The development of this village was quite dramatic, in years of 1860’s it eventually united with the Crouch End’s separate settlement.

Most of the area of Hornsey was developed in times of Edwardian, but original parish church’s tower is still standing in the Hornsey High Street. The first ever factory of Lotus cars was also established in this city, near the Tottenham lane.
